Unsilencing the Archives: Illuminating Voices and Collections

We’re thrilled to announce that the ACDA Biennial Conference will return to the beautiful University of Saint Mary of the Lake campus in Mundelein, IL, this summer!
Join us as we explore myriad ways in which archivists and memory workers make their collections accessible, discoverable, and usable.
Who should attend?
The conference welcomes diocesan/religious archivists, records managers, and other archives advocates, including bishops, chancellors, and support staff. Conference sessions and workshops address archives and records management issues in diocesan and religious institutions.

Registration is OPEN until Monday, June 15!
Conference pricing is based on the number of days you plan to attend:
• 5 days: $1100 (arrival on Monday, July 6, 2026, and includes Archives and Records Management 101)
• 4 days: $950 (arrival on Tuesday, July 7, 2026)
Attendance fees include all our conference sessions, room and board, nightly socials with an open bar, daily Mass, and Wednesday evening banquet dinner. Attendees planning to attend the Archives and Records Management 101 workshop by Dr. Emilie Gagnet Leumas should register for the 5-day option.
Note: Those not attending Archives and Records Management 101 are still welcome to arrive on July 6!

2026 Biennial Conference Silent Auction
This year’s Biennial Conference includes a new addition: a silent auction to raise funds for the ACDA Endowment Fund.
The auction is soliciting portable, easy-to-pack items. To submit an item, please email Katie Oubre directly at koubre@dio.org and include a full description of the item submission (donor, retail value, starting bid, and minimum bid increment). Donations made directly to the ACDA Endowment are also very much appreciated.
